I had my LBL on October 3rd. So far my recovery has been terrific. I was able to stop taking my Narcotic pain relievers on the 6th. My incisions are healing well, I haven't had any separations.
Today, I am almost 3 weeks out from my LBL. I don't have any trouble sleeping or moving around. I have a little tightness in my legs when I cross them. The worst part for me right now is the swelling. I have about 5 lbs of water weight I am carrying around. WHen I walk or am active the fluid accumulates and can make me a little uncomfortable. The main thing is the emotional part -I am impatient and want to see my final result now, even though it probably won't be until December.
I would not hesitate to do it again. I am having my next surgery sometime next year.
