1 day post thigh lift and back side of LBL
I had a tummy tuck in June, breast lift/aug and arm lipo and mini lift in August. Yesterday I had my hopefully last surgery. I had a medial thigh lift that actually covers half of my thigh. It is in the groin crease and extended in front and back. I also had the posterior portion of the LBL. He did lipo my inner knees but no other lipo. This is the worst of all the surgeries so far. I am hoping I will be walking pretty good and feeling pretty good in 2 weeks. The other surgeries were such easy recovery and even the day after I felt fine. I can't wait to be healed and have no more surgeries! I had to pay out of pocket for all my surgeries so now I can keep my money. I have been working a second job to pay for all of this so now I can quit!!!!
I know what you mean. the thighs was the worst, take it EASY, cause even after a week my thigh incisions up near the groin split and after all the pain and annoying wounds I LOVE MY THIGHS, it was all so worth it. each hour the pain was better. walking was no problem it was sitting and do not sit or lay with your legs in a frog position it will pull on the incision the best way to lay is flat with your feet elevated, you must keep pressure off the incision line

Congratulations on all your surgeries. I have heard that the thigh lift was the most painful and hard to heal surgery but so worth it in the end. I am planning on having the posterior part of the LBL in the spring. How are you feeling about the back side and did they do any repair tucks from your tummy tuck? Just curious. Keep ahead of your pain meds and I hope the time moves quickly for you to get beyond the pain. Good luck.
Thanks everyone. 6 years ago I had a full TT. This mini TT was kind of the revision for the full. The last scar was absolutely horrible and very high. I lost another 60 pounds after full TT and then had a baby so it needed done. It was not that bad though. I am taking Oxy once every 3 hours around the clock so I can keep up with pain. I have an eggcrate foam mattress so that helps. Getting up is the worst part, but once I am settled, either lying down or walking, it is OK. I have 4 drains but he put them all in the front so they do not bother me at all. I am already bored of laying around. My 2 year old wants me to get up and play, and my husband wants me to get better so I can help with 2 year old again. I guess the pain right now is not that bad. I do try to get up every couple hours to walk a bit. I will also agree with what many people have suggested. Get the Freshette. It is great! And the grabber thing so you don't have to bend over and pick anything up.
