I am really interested in getting my arms done.  LOL of course could use all of the surgerys, but the arm flab bothers me too much.

Can someone tell me about the surgery, what to expect, and how much time off work I will need.

Thank you so much!!

I love my new arms. Best decision ever. I could hide everything else with shapewear, but you can't hide batwings. Even long sleeved shirts do not really work to hide them.

I could have gone back to work in 10 days but had already taken 2.5 weeks off so I went with that.

I second that, I am 7 weeks post op, and am so glad I had my arms done too. depending on how long of cuts you have,  expect a little delayed healing in the armpit, numbness around the incision lines. Swollen elbows, and in my case my lower left underside of the forearm is partially numb, slowly coming back like when you go numb and it starts to wake up sensation. Depending on how tight they make your arm, expect some slight pulling sensations, and the occassionional electric shock as nerves rejuvinate. depending on your work depends how much time you will need off, are you having anything els done at the same time? If not, I would say a week for sure, just to get used to the movement restriction, no lifting above chest level, potential limitation on how much weight you can lift, potentially drains(i did not have drains, other have) wearing arm binders if your doctor suggests them, they are great, they reduce swelling, and protect your arms which are sensitive to things rubbing on them in an odd way. I wear mine still at night because I want the best possible result, and still get end of day swelling.

Cheers,
Shelly

I would highly recommend Dr. Sauceda in Monterrey, Mx.  No plastic surgeon is cheap, but he has what I consider the best prices for the level of care.
