Hey y'all!
After numerous clinic apptmts I was admitted to hospital with vertical incision on right Breast and bubbling open on its areola.
After a couple of days, it was decided to debride ans stitch me shut.
Within a few days it slowly opened.
After eight days in hospital I was released home with protocol of daily washing as normal - put on threolone cream and Silvercel with Tielle and come back to clinic in ten days! I said I'm coming to clinic this week -which was today!
The last few stitches were removed and my PS remarked on Yucky being "open" and Patience on my continued healing.
I am home again - writing on the Boards and forums.
Every other day dressing with Silvercel and Tielle until next Rh apptmt in clinic.
Jewish New Year next week.
And recently I started eating Coconut Oil in my diet as I heard in hospital in its many health benefits (in the body and on it)so I figured I would try it for a month to see what I happens.

Thank you Lee.
I obviously have a healing problem that is more noticeable fir recovering from Plastic surgery. And I so want to also have my inner thighs and lipo my butt! Even if I got approved for further Plastics, it would not happen until next year.

 Hi Mikimi,
I had openings under both my breasts, and I can say 6 weeks post opt they have finally healed. I rejected the anchor stiches. So at first I was lust using maxipads, gauze and bacitracin, then had to do wet to dry debriding, for a week and then I alternated with wet to dry, and using bacitracin and tegaderm bandages, which are amazing. As the holes got smaller I put hydrocortizone on the pink healing part on a very thin coat of bacitracin on the open part, again covered lightly with gauze or a tegaderm bandage.  At night I slept on my back and didn't let the bra or any pressure touch the wounds, I rolled up gauze and panty liners to create elevation. But I think the biggest push to healing was my increase of Biotin (5000iu) and increase my vitamin C the last few weeks to promote healing.

Good luck,
It does get better.

It looks we are also almost surgery partners as mine was 30/07/12.
Just this week I switched from sleeping in my recliner to my bed and sleeping on my side...DO YOU THINK I AHOULD GO BACK TO SLEEPING IN MY RECLINER UNTIL EVERYTHING HEALS SHUT?
My PS has me using Silvercel and Tielle for now and coming to hospital clinic weekly. Now I can change dressing every two days and most of the first day my breast is burning me.
The thought is still an allergy to the sutures.
I plan on arranging a Plastics consult with another PS at another hospital about further Plastic surgery options - or not as to her opinion on techniques... I really want the side boob blubber removed (my PS said as I was being marked right before the op that it would open up we did it at same time as the breasts. I did not argue but it does bother me); and now that tummy is real flat, my inner thighs from the groin affect my toileting and emotionally the tire around my butt too.
These areas on my body mean I cannot enjoy shopping and buying clothes. I'm short and still fat to the average eye,and I am wide build! If my thighs and butt were smaller and redefined I think my clothing (I wear skirts or dresses outside the home) would probably drop a size or two. My being wide-framed I have ro accept as who I am and even with all the Plastics in the world, some things we just cannot change in our bodies.

Every body is beauiful .... and I'm sure Urs is too dear Mikimi .  That said i   heartily appaud Ur  persistence and insitence on being the best U can be...  and YES  it DOES lift the spirit     considerably when we achieve a new shape ...

Have you tried such simple remedies as eating yogurt pills  ?  ( please try the most effective  regfrigerated , multi - variety kind )

the cultures REALLY  help skin knit together seamlessly ( and cure wrinkles and digestion issues too)

I personally loved the tegaderm large size peel off showerproof  clear adhesive bandages that hold everything together like skin until it can heal seamlessly .. jes saying .   Also LOTS of C  and mutivitamins for healing !

Happy New Year ... and  SOO rooting for U and praying for Your quick and painless recovery ...
