Hi all,
Continuing to heal slowly from my anchor TT and thigh lift on July 16th. I was cleared to exercise on Thursday, but unfortunately one of the thigh incisions up at my groin opened up a little on my very first day of walking, so I've backed off. I'm bummed because I am signed up for an obstacle course/5K in 3 weeks and I'm not sure if I'll be ready for it.
I finally took some comparison pix, below. Overall I am very happy with how things are healing so far and how my clothes fit. There are two adjustments that we'll probably need to make (I'm assuming I'll wait until I can do my arms and do these at the same time):
1. fix the pooch above my pubic bone that my doc says is excess laxity in that skin.
2. possibly pull my belly button in if it heals flat.
One really weird thing I've noticed -- I only did my front, not my butt, because I didn't think I cared. But lately I'll be walking around in clothes and think my underwear is falling down in back and realize that it's my droopy butt that I'm now feeling!! I never noticed it before, and but now I am actually feeling the skin as I move -- and I with my thighs tight, I can actually see my sagging butt through the tops of my legs! I know I can't fix everything, so I'll have to see if I can get used to it or if it becomes too uncomfortable to leave as is. Definitely not something I expected!
Cheers!
Laura

Wow - looks good even with the little extra pooch. Thanks for posting this! I have a similar pattern of excess skin so its nice to know that I can in fact have a flat stomach in a couple months!!
Your thighs are super amazing too!
