Thigh lift - recovery ?

Has anyone had a thigh lift (full, down to the knee) by itself? I'm wondering what the recovery was like?  How many days you took off? If you had a sedentary sit down job, would you be able to go back to work sooner rather than later?  Was sitting more difficult than standing, walking, or laying down?

I already had a LBL - worse recovery than the LBL?

Any additional insight will be appreciated.
Thank you in advance!

I had the LBL and an extended Thigh Lift with Lipo at the same time.  The thighs were much worse.  I took 11 weeks off because I also had the Anchor Cut TT at the same time.  I had no complications related to any of these procedures.  The thighs are difficult, you have to be careful to not do too much too soon.  Your legs will swell and the incisions can be stressed easily.  I wore my compression garment and was very thankful for it!  You can walk, stand and sit down without much difficulty. You have to be careful and deliberate with your movements.  For me the low energy and the swelling me the rest much appreciated - and I believe that is why I healed so well.

I had both.  I had a LBL, arm lift, and BA/BL as round one, and an inner thigh lift (scar down just past my knee) as round two.

The inner thigh lift recovery was nowhere near as extensive as the LBL.  I would say you could be up and around within a few days, but moving slowly and deliberatley.  The issue is that for a few weeks it's hard to get comfortable.  Sitting, squatting, bending, stairs....it all puts strain on your incision.  Standing and lying flat are easy - it's everything else that is difficult.  I work from home in an office job, and was able to work about 2-3 days after surgery.  But if I had to get up and go to an office, I woudl say that would take more like 10 days.

Was it difficult to walk around a lot? I work in a restaurant, and am on my feet a lot. Actually, I'm hoping I can split up my procedures the same way you did.

It would have been very difficult for about 2, maybe 3 weeks.  Your thighs are swollen and you might have a drain.  I  dont think you'd be able to work full time on your feet for at least 2 weeks.

Ah oh. I expect to take at least four weeks off, so that's not too bad. I just hope it's not more than that, but from what I hear the recovery for the thigh lift can be rough.

Also, I love your ps results and am thinking about getting a consult with your surgeon. Did you travel to see him or do you live in the area? I guess I was just wondering about travel arrangements, hotels or after care clinics. That sort of thing.

Edit: and thank you for your response!

I had the thigh lift w/ my BA/BL. I only took 10 days off from work because that's all I had available. The thighs were the worst in regards to the pain level. However that said I was back to normal going out to clubs w/ friends and such at 3 weeks out. I have a desk job so that wasn't too bad. Walking was a little tender for the first 2 weeks I'd say. Trying to get into my car was probably the toughest for me once I went back to work. I'm short and have an SUV so that's where the difficulty came in trying to climb in w/o putting stress on the incisions.

I had a thigh lift that went 3/4 of the way to my knees and a breast lift at the same time.  Breast lift was not problem.  The first week of the thigh lift was difficult - little painfully to fit down and get back up.  Take the pain pills the doctor gives you.  I wore the compression garment for my legs for about two weeks. I went back to work 3 weeks after the surgery.
