Hi All
I am having what I hope is my last surgery next month.  So far I have had:

Tummy Tuck with MR and lipo to flanks in 2006
Breast lift 2008

Lost another 60 pounds after TT (same as now when I had BL) and had a baby

December 2010 lower facelift
April 2011 upper facelift
June 2012 I had a mini extended TT with a little lipo on flanks
August 2012 mini arm lift with lipo to upper arms, lower pole breast lift w/silicone augmentation under muscle

The next surgery is to do the back half of the LBL, lipo to inner and outer thighs and knees, medial thigh lift.

I have not had any problems so far.  My arms are still a little sore from the lipo, and my reach is still a little limited from the arm lift.  I expect by next surgery in 4 weeks they will be fine.  I am SOOOOO worried about the next one!!  I have a 2 1/2 year old boy who has been very patient with me.  With all of my other lipo surgeries, it seems that by 4 weeks it is just sore and I can deal with that.  I guess I just need t know the reality of when I can walk, drive and sit.  My surgeon is 3 hours away.  I will go home right after surgery which doesn't concern me at all.  After my TT, my drains stayed in for 10 days and by then I was OK to drive myself back to PS.  For this surgery he doesn't need to see me until drains need to come out unless I have problems.

But if my drains need to come out in a week, how likely is it that I could drive myself?
I can't lay on my stomach because of the implants, so how will it be constantly sitting (reclined almost laying) all the time?
I work from home on a computer all day so I don't have to worry about how much time I need off.

I guess any insight into recovery from something like this would be very much appreciated!  If anyone is interested I would be happy to share tips and recovery from my other surgeries too.

Thanks!

The best advice I can give with the back half of the lbl is don't bend forward, do squats if you need to pick something up. I have 5 kids and it's unbelievable how often I need to pick stuff up off the floor. I have had lots of issues getting my back incision to heal properly. It's also hard when you are always sitting on it. Plus like you said it's hard to find a way to lay down that you aren't uncomfortable when you have had multiple areas worked on. I'm finally getting pretty healed up now but I'm almost 6 wks out. I should have taken it way easier earlier on and I would have healed better and faster. I was able to walk and sit right after surgery, driving a couple days later, mostly depending on what pain meeds you are on. My drains came out a little over a week after, I took them out myself. Let me know if you have any questions. I've had extended tt, and brachio, then back half of lbl with butt lift, and breast lift/ augmentation. Next month face lift, then I'm done except some revisions.
