Tummy Tuck??
I'd do it again in a heartbeat. I had a full LBL just over a year after by RNY. Have had some regain in the 3 years since I had it done but no regrets at all. I had a very easy recovery. No complications and no wounds opening. Only issue I had was I had my last drain in for 6 weeks and I lied to get it taken out since I couldn't handle it any more. W/o lying it probably would have only stayed in for another week as it was really slowing down so wasn't much risk of getting a seroma.
I had a lower body lift and a bunch of other stuff. I had a couple openings on surgery one lbl and a seroma on my leg for my thigh lift. I would do it ALL over and over again, pain and complications and all.
I had it done after I was weight stable at MY goal for a year. I had the second round a year later. I have subsequently gained 25 pounds...but as soon as I lose them, and am weight stable again I will have round 3.
Round 1 = Lower Body Lift, Upper Body lift (back rolls), Butt Augmentation, Breast Lift, Lipo
Round 2 = Vertical Thighplasty (scar from groin to knee), Brachioplasty (arms)
Round 3 = Upper Thigh Lift (scar goes around the top/inner thigh); Revisions due to scars and weight gain I'm sure

I had my first TT in 1998 and thought it was the best money I ever spent, I continued to feel this way even after gaining about 30lbs, then I got pregnant with TWINS, so after they were born and I had the VSG, my belly bounced back ok for the cir****tances (did I mention TWINS), BUT I just had a revision on Friday and I am heaven again. ALmost nothing beats looking down at that tight beautiful abdomen. Amen.

I was about 15 months at my goal weight when I had mine done and would do it again in a heartbeat.
I had an out patient procedure and went home the same day.
No drains, no complications, about 10 days of recovery before I could resume my full time job.
I have a flat tummy, a new belly button and a wonderful result.

I waited a year. I wasn't at goal -- about 30 lbs away. But I couldn't stand it hanging there anymore, so i had an LBL. The best moment of my life was looking down and not seeing it there! Now at goal, its still just fine. I need a revision in the butt, as it is GONE except for the extra skin back there. I had complications in the back, but not in the front.
As it seems everyone else says about doing it again: IN A HEARTBEAT!!!

Has anyone had a TT in ontario? If so, can you recommend a plastic surgeon?
