What do you think of these? I don't want my arms to see the light of day after brachioplasty.

I thought these might be good for around the house or gardening?

These look cool, but it made me wonder why would people who didn't have arm surgery wear these?  Wouldn't they just wear a shirt.  Am I missing something...

My mom has has issues with skin cancer so when she drives long distances she wears a sleeve like that so she doesn't get more exposure. I can't think of any othe reason. After brachioplasty your incision will go to your elbow, so you would have to pull the sleeve up further on your arm.

12/09 and 6/11, 9 skin removal procedures with Dr. Sauceda in Monterrey Mexico
Revised to the Sleeve after losing 271 lbs with the LapBand.

Oh wow, the ppl on this board are always so smart.  Thanx.  I hadn't thought of sun exposure.  They say your left arm is always more prone to skin cancer simply because of the exposure you get while driving.  Makes sense.  Some times on long trips I will throw a small towel over the arm that's by the window.
