Glad to hear you are doing so well. I had a lbl, brachia, breast lift and aug. Pain hasn't been terrible but the fatigue and drains are the worst! I hate to sleep in my recliner and can't wait until I can go back to my bed. Today is the first morning that I have woken upend felt some semblance of my former self. There would be no way I could work though as I have zero concentration.I had my surgery on 8/9/2012.

Shelly and Amanda, you guys sound like you are doing incredibly well with the amount of surgery you've had -- the LBL AND upper work is a lot. When I did both upper and lower it was the LBL and arms -- and then I got the MRSA. Now I'm only dealing with the upper body this time. I'm still not feeling like myself, i.e., exhausted, fatigued.

I went to the surgeon yesterday and he says I'm doing fine -- it just takes me longer to bounce back. And he said that the front and back are two surgeries. The incisions are healing nicely. I'm still swollen, and he wanted me to take Motrin, but I can't because of the Gastric Bypass. (I should put up a separate post about this to see what other people do!) He basically said the same things as I was told on the phone earlier in the week.

I am luckily off until the day after Labor Day, so I can get rest. My 40th HS reunion is this Saturday night, however. I'm a bit freaked out over it -- my best friend is one of the organizers and she got us a hotel room to share. I can go up and rest whenever I want, but I'm worried about all the hugging, etc. My husband of less than two weeks suggested I wear a hula hoop with straps to create a boundary! LOL It doesn't really go with the sequined size 8 dress I'm wearing (as opposed to the size 32 at the 30th reunion).

Well, here's to "The Girls of Summer '12" -- to survive and thrive

 Hi Lisa,
I had a lift with implants by Dr. Vivek Bansal, Elite MD in Danville CA. Pricing was unique to your individual situations, so my pricing would be different than anyone elses, I had multiple procedures, stayed overnight at a facility, and allowed other physicians to observe, as he is a teaching facility as well. So, in short you would have to go and get a quote, what I will tell you, is he cam highly recommended by other MD's, and he is not cheap. I was not willing to go budget for the procedures I was having done. Make sure you go to a Board certified plastic surgeon. I work in the medical devie field and let me tell you, I have seen quacks with MD behind their names.

Go luck in your search, just know $$ should be last on your list qualifications, patient testimonials and actual results are important. Ask for names and phone numbers of patients who had the procedures done that you are concidering and see if they will give them to you.

Best of luck.
Shelly
