Update Post Panni 3 weeks

Tomorrow will make 3 weeks since my panni.  I'm feeling pretty good.  2 drains were removed last week but I have one left to go and it's pretty stubborn.  My doctor said he will remove it when it gets below 40 in 24 hours.  We're not even close yet.

Otherewise I'm doing well.  He removed 4.5 lbs. of excess skin and I'm down a total of 12 lbs. since the day before surgery and that's with the drain and swelling.

No regrets here.

You are doing great, dont worry about that drain coming out, they took mine to early and I still have a fluid pocket at 3 months out. It was still putting out like 40 in 24 hours but he didnt want to leave it in to long for chance of infection. Keep up the good work.

He doesn't want me to return to wor****il the drain comes out.  It's now 3 weeks and I feel up to going to work. But today's total (24 hour) is 60 and he wants it below 40.  I'd like to just go to work for a few hours.  I'm already back to driving.  Very frustrating.

Glad to hear it is doing well... I'm having a panni and breast reduction Aug. 20 and frankly pretty scared about it all.... but I'm sure I will feel so much better without all these flappy bits.
Best of luck with the drain.
How many inches did you lose with the panni? Or is it too soon to tell yet? (sorry for being snoopy but I'm very curious about the whole procedure.

Too soon to tell about the inches.  But everything fits much better or is lose.  I would say at least 2 inches of my waist.  Will have to see once the swelling is gone.  BTW, drain was removed last Friday.  Feeling so much better.
