We sometimes forget to think about how much things may cost if things go wrong. Second and third surgeries, psycho and/or physical therapy., medications, loss of income.  So many SUBLIMINAL messages out there giving impression that plastic surgery will make life better.  What a mess if things go wrong.  It sure did with me.
Congratulatons, you should be proud of yourself for losing weight but you should be proud of your husband for having a head on his shoulders too. I can see why he would be so against it. Money matters.

I had fleur de lis abdominoplasty and brachioplasty 14 months ago.  I did have a post-op "open wound" complication and I still am not back to normal.

Give yourself time.  The "anchor" incision and underlying muscle restructuring are BIG sugery to recover from.

My tummy is still really tight and tender.  I lack strength in my "core."

Are you wearing compression garments??  I wore them for several months and found they did help with the swelling.

You can click on my avitar or my name and see my pics.

Best wishes.  Penny
