Really unhappy with my results.

Anyone else unhappy with their results? Tuesday I will be 2 weeks out and I'm so depressed I want to curl up in a ball and die. I can tell my arms will be fine although the surgeon told me before he released me from the hospital that the right arm pit was going to need a small revision which fortunately can be done in the office. I think the breasts will turn out fine once the implants drop but my stomach looks worse than before. I opted for a fleur di lis and a circumferential body lift because I did have a lot of upper belly fat. Right now I have this totally flat lower belly and a huge uniboob at the top of stomach that looks like bread dough. I feel totally deformed and am so depressed and upset that I went through this much pain for this. The pain from the surgery wasn't that bad but all the skin on my back and hips sheared where there was surgical tape so I had no skin when they took off my wrappings. I was extremely active before the surgery and now I don't even want to leave my house. I'm just trying to figure out how to get over this.

I was happy even at day 1. But you are recovering, exhausted, and still have anesthesia running through your body. I assume you did your research and are confident in your choice of surgeon. Once the swelling goes down, it will be better. Hang in there!

Sorry your so disappointed.
Did you have a vertical incision as well as horizontal?
I was told by 2 of the for consults that I went to that unless they did the vertical incision when doing the lower body lift , the pouch of flesh above the belly button would remain.
Maybe a revision, quicky tummy tuck like surgery, can be done to take care of this later.
Hang in there. Try and focus on the things that do look good, I know it is easier said then done.

I did have the vertical incision as well as the horizontal incision because all the surgeons I met with said that if I didn't go with the vertical incision as well there was no way I would be able to address the upper body issues.

Being only 2 weeks out, it could be the way your body is swelling, the pocketing of fluid. Hopefully over time it will settle down. I do understand how you could be feeling so upset at this time.  Takeing all the time to search out a doctor, decide on a procedure, pay all the money, go through a surgery,... but from all I've heard people say on this blog area is give it time. The body will  need time to heal and the final result is not seen for weeks.  Do share how your feeling with your doctor and see what he has to say.

Truly wishing you the best.

It's very early and too soon to tell but it's possible that you will need a revision. I am one of those that will need to go back in to have more skin from my 360 removed and even some more off my arms. Being that I am going in to have a breast lift and my thighs done in 3 months that's when we are doing my revisions.

It just happens and as long as you and your surgeon are on the same page and he does not charge for revisions I would not worry right now.

Hi, I was wondering how you were doing. I too am sorry to hear that you are unhappy with your results. I have not had my surgery yet, but from everything I have read, what you are seeing is not uncommon and can be due to swelling. In that first month, your body will actually go through a period where things start to look worse before they get better as your body heals. I can imagine if you had some breast work and your arms done at the same time as your lower body that you could have quite a bit of swelling up top. Try to relax (easier said than done I am sure), focus on healing, and hopefully you will feel better soon…

Surgeon does not charge for his time but I would be responsible for hospital and anesthesia. I was given the surgery as a gift and the well has run dry. My husband was 100 percent against it to the point he dropped he off at the hospital on his way way to work and had them call him the next day to let him know when to pick me up. When I told him I was having the surgery his first response was " there had better not be a dime of money being used". So I just feel like I'm totally screwed.
