Surgery Approved so nervous
I am approved for a breast reduction and lift on Monday (just found out it's approved). I am so much more nervous about this one than I was about the weight loss surgery. I feel like this is a detour from the path I"ve been on (one of heavy exercise) but I also know it's one I need to have a healthier life.
I realize in the long run having the surgery after I reached goal would be preferable but we already know my insurance won't cover it then and I decided I'd rather have smaller saggy breasts than bigger ones!
Here's to a quick recovery and no complications. I want to be back running in 4 weeks!

We didn't think it was going to be approved. They called for further corroboration and I didn't really have any. I don't go to the dr. every time I get a rash, and honestly until I started exercising and being more active they weren't causing me any pain. But I had gone to a physical therapist in 2009 for back pain so I sorta crossed my fingers and hoped and they approved it. Yesterday (Friday) with my surgery being on Monday!

I found when I had my TT, that it was very difficult for me - emotionally. I think this is quite normal - but you need to figure out how to deal with it. Mine was the drain issue...
I realized that PS is a voluntary surgery. You go through "do I really need to do it, etc". I actually have a blog about it. It effected me that much. When I had my BL/BA I at least knew what to expect.
Good luck to a quick and uneventful surgery. I don't regret it for a minute and would even consider doing more PS.
