exercise after buttock auto-augmentation??

I had a lbl with buttock auto-augmentation (where they use your own tissue folded down to augment your butt) last summer. I love my butt, but I do a lot of yoga and bootcamp type-exercise and it hurts my butt. I cannot find anything good to put under my butt to help stop the pain. Does anyone else who had this have any tips???

Laura, I'm in the same boat. I had mine one in December and till cant lay on the floor comfortably. I do a lot of pilates, so that's been on hold.  The only thing that allows me to do floor work is to put my small pilates ball under me.  It cushions that part of my butt.  Yesterday I was in a jacuzzi for the first time and about howled when the jet**** my tush.

If you find something that works, please let me knw!  :)

I've been meaning to ask my doctor about something similar. I havent returned to exercise, but a few times I've "jogged" a few feet to get somewhere faster...crossing a street, etc...and it makes my butt hurt! Sends tingles all thru it.

Hang in there!! Running is much easier for me now. It feels a little weird, but not painful. Exercises on a mat still hurt at a year out. I can't find anything cushiony-enough.

Why the pain?  Is it due to the surgery or the exercise and sore muscles.

It's basically a lump under your skin. Rolling back and forth over it doing exercises on a mat (like sit ups) magnifies this fact. It hurts. In my everyday life the augmentation is not an issue and I love the shape it goves my backside, but I have to find a way to be more comfortable when exercising.

For the person that asked what the flap s, here is my experience:

My surgeon, Dr.Sauceda took the flap of skin that was removed from my LBL and inserted it under the skin right below my waist to round out my tushie.  It really oes give a great shape!

Thanks Lee,
I'm going to Dr. S in January, we've had a few conversations about it but I still haven't 'seen' results. I will google it
