Seromas in both of my arms. Surgeon did not want to drain but instead wanted my body to absorb it.  One went away completely 6 months later and the other is almost gone. Not that it mattered because I am getting a revision in both arms when we do phase 2 plastics at the end of October so they are both being opened up again.. This round is thighs and breast lift along with revisions to the 360 and arms to remove more skin and contour better.

So here we go again!!

Boy I wouldn't have the patience to wait six months, This damn thing is in the most inconvenient spot it could posssibly be in.

Good luck with your revisions,

The only thing that made the seromas easy was because they were in the arms. Anyplace else and it would have bugged me. I expect the revisiond to be pretty smooth, it's the thigh and breast lift that I'm not looking forward to. I mean an incision from your crotch to your knees has gotta hurt, right?!?!?!

Gotta hurt?!?! Probably Gonna hurt me thinks. Can't say I envy your pain to come, only that I envy your getting more plastics and I know I would love to get more but don't see it on the horizon. I just literally paid off my WLS from over 3 years ago now to pay for the plastics that another 3 years. But I keep it in perspective I'm lucky enough to have gotten done what I did to this point.

Good luck with your revision & the your other surgeries,

When I had my lapband put in my insurance covered up to a certain amount, I was left with 6000 from that. Fast forward to 3 years later and ready for plastics I was denied for even a panniculectomy... funny how they think that being able to see your VaaGee area is cosmetic, but I never had a rash so to the insurance company it was purely cosmetic. Such is life.

I went with a government funded hospital and ended up with the top burn surgeon in Indianapolis that trained at the Cleveland Clinic. Being that it's government funded they just get their salary so the prices are freaking amazing. After all is said and done I will have spent about 21 thousand on plastics and will have gotten an anchor cut 360, arms, thighs, breast lift and all supplies needed to recover plus revisions. No new car and no major vacations for a couple years but It had to be done. NOW pain, honest to god I had NO pain what so ever with the first round. Weaned myself off of pain meds after 2 weeks. NOW, keep in mind that i am going in for revisions so it's possible that because I am not pulled all the way tight that that's why i had such a great recovery. I'll let you know after this next round. This one may put the wammy on me.

I'll keep you updated, still waiting on the place to call and give me a date.
