Excitement after plastic or WLS surgery?
Hey Joe,
I would have to agree with the instant results of see ones body changed so dramatically in a matter of hours. I haven't had my surgery yet , but I can't imagine what it will be like to look at my body and NOT see all the excess skin, I don't care how swollen it may look. NO hanging, bulging skin wil be awesome. I really feel it will be the final stage in the long journey.
I remember talking on my cell phone in English (I live in Israel and Hebrew is the language) to a friend while still in hospital and one if the doctors passed by me me and heard what I was saying and he started laughing at my words " my stomach is so flat!" now I am still fat but not FAT and I did not hit normal bmi yet but I am a far cry from what I was. I still marvel at my flat tummy and I am almost a year out and due for Breadt Lift/Reduction 1 August.

My Arm lift was by far the most amazing and exciting thing! My husband saw
the results in recovery and he was crying. My wings were gone! He was so
thrilled for me. I could hardly wait to see my arms.
On the other hand maybe he was crying and happy cause I didnt have
anything to swing at him anymore???
The weight loss was like cake, having the extra skin off is like sticking your finger
in the whippy icing of william and kates wedding cake!!!
