Has anyone gotten implants, but no lift?

If you have, are you happy with it?
Just wondering if I'd be happy filling up what I have left, or if I'd be unhappy not getting a lift too.
Pre-op I was a 42 DD.  Now I'm approx 36 C.

Thanks!

I have not done this, but I did ask my surgeon about doing it. I was told that it won't give as good of a result. Depending on the amount of laxity in the breast skin just filling up volume there will still be the extra skin. The volume will be better, but the breast will still have some sagginess. I would guess it would give a better result if the implant was larger. Particularly when the implant is placed under the muscle, the breast skin can sag, while the implant stays put, not a great look. I have a friend who had a redo of her breast aug after 4 kids, the implant hadn't moved but the skin was saggy. I would get a lift while you are doing the implants, but this is just my opinion. I go in next Tuesday for my lift and augmentation, so I will update on that. Good luck. I hope this helped.

Yes, I had implants and no lift.  I got silicone under the muscle and I am very happy.  They look and feel so natural.

That's my main question as well. I was happy with my (a little) saggy breasts while overweight... so why can't I just fill it and not do the lift? Surgeons keep saying it won't look good but I have the impression it will look super natural, I don't mind a little sag at all. I REALLY dislike the lollipop scar idea.

Would be great to see some examples of implants only post weight loss.

Sue, the way I do it on mac to post here is:

1) go to Finder where the picture is
2) hold CTRL tab and click on the picture you want to post
3) go to "Open with"
4) select Firefox
5) it opens on an internet window on Firefox.
6) click "apple tab" + A to select all (the picture)
7) come to OH and "apple tab" + V (to paste the pic)

seems a lot but it's super quick. works for me for posting pics on OH ;)

The problem is that the implant can be up in the correct position but if you have saggy skin, it will hang over the implant, this is called "double bubble" i have done it and i had to have the implants removed. Next time, i will do the lift as suggested by the surgeon.

I asked the doctor this, too before my surgery and he flat out told me I would not be happy because my nipple was so displaced so, I had the lift and the implant (silicone under the muscle). I have photos on my profile of before and two weeks post-op. I am almost three weeks post op now and they are starting to drop a bit and look less cartoonish...Hope that gives you and idea! Good Luck!

Angela, just saw your before and after breast pics, you look great! Thank you so much for having the guts for posting!

Who was your surgeon? he did a great job! I am almost not so scared of the lollipop scar after seeing your pics. I bet it's gonna be unoticiable in a year or two. Would you also feel comfortable to share the cost? Thanks anyway.

Thanks for your responses.
Im not terrified of the lift, I'm just trying to see if the cost could be differed to another place on my body. If I'd be happy with it.
I'll have to discuss it with my surgeon and see what he says.
