What does it look like long term.....
I posted this pic on the main board but I am gonna post it over here also. I had rny in 2005, extended tt with muscle tightening in 2006, brachioplasty in 2008. Starting weight 283.5 and my current weight 140lbs at 5'5 at 47 years old. This was taken a little while ago after a day floating in my pool.
Yes......I feel the same way.....I'm in a size 10 and still feel fat with all this extra skin. I especially hate my belly, arms and thighs. It's a horrible feeling to go through all that work......lose all the weight and still feel yucky. I don't see the extra skin on your legs though in the pic.......I think you look fabulous and you are a very pretty woman :)
Yeah well right after the part you don't see is gross and sagging and icky. I would have a thigh lift if I was rich and didn't have to work anymore, but thats never gonna happen so I just suck it up. The skin is saggy from the inner top part down to nearly my knee, you will never see me in a short dress unless I have armorall tights on or something. I refuse to wear excess clothes in the summer, so I bought all maxi dress right to the floor, I adore that style and I don't have to look at my legs. When I float in the pool the skin pools around me, I am sure its quite the sight but hey it is what it is and considering I was MO for 20 years while I was young I feel okay about it all now that I am nearly 50.
Thanks for the compliments, and good luck with your surgery, you are already gorgeous, it will just get better!
