I posted this on another thread, but thought I'd start my own.

A year ago I had my lower body lift with buttock auto-augmentation and breast lift by the amazing Dr. LoMonaco. I am so thankful for his kindness and skill as a surgeon.

The first couple months were tough, but I made it through. I'd do it again in a heartbeat. I was having so many emotional/mental breakdowns because of my excess skin. My boyfriend (whom I've known for over 20 years) did not want me to have surgery. He loved me "as-is" but after surgery and seeing how much better I was doing emotionally, even he admitted it as the right choice for me. Gosh, I love him!!

I am 45 years old and used to be 200 pounds heavier. I am amazed everyday at how "normal" I look now. Never in a million years did I think I would ever feel "whole" again. Life is grand.

I added some more pictures to my profile, if anyone is interested. PM me for the password. (Warning, nudity!!)

Laura:

Your pictures are awesome.  I pray that after I get through with my surgeries that I can have as good of results as you do.  You look beautiful.  Remember the old saying that inside every fat girl is a beautiful woman waiting to get out?  You are definitely out!

Thank you for sharing your pictures you look amazing!  If I can only look 1/2 as good when I get mine done I would be grateful.  When I was 23 I lost over 100 lbs and did not like my stomach and thighs there was no LBL only TT surgery and I wanted to have children.  I am now 55 and lost close to 100 lbs and need to lose the last 50 or so pounds before plastics.  Let me tell you it is these pictures that keep me going to lose the rest of my weight to get plastics 2013.  If I could wear a two piece bathing suit instead of shorts over my one piece that would make me feel like a million dollars.  You are a inspiration to me and everybody before plastics.

Hey Laura,
First, you are very brave to post your pics!  I don't think I have enough courage to do that.  Second, thank you for being so open about it.  You do look great!  I know you are standing in the pics and you look very tight.  Was your abdomen just as tight when you were seated?  I am asking because I had a mons lift/reduction and tummy tuck revision on Tuesday and while the mons looks great, my abdomen still seems "loose" when I am seated. Is that typical?  Any opinion on whether it will tighten up?  I am not looking to have anything else done and considering where I came from (226 pounds lost and a panni that hung to my knees) the result is great and more than I ever thought possible.  I just thought it would be tighter-maybe its just "old" skin; turning 50 in August; although I feel more like 25 with lots of life experience!
Again, you look fabulous.

Thank you so much for posting this. You look absolutely stunning and you give me hope for my own upcoming procedures (LBL, medial thigh lift and buttock augmentation). If my results are anything like yours, I'll be thrilled. I am so happy for you and can only imagine what it feels like to live in that lean, strong, healthy body!
