Please share; the good, the bad and the ugly-medial thigh lift

I had a medial thigh lift, with a long scar that goes just below my knee.  I also had a LBL, but not at the same time.

The thigh lift recovery was not as bad as I had worried about.  The worst thing is that anything that gets you into a squatting position (like going to the bathroom) puts strain on the incisions and is difficult.  That lasts about a week, maybe 10 days.

I'm very happy with my results.  I dont like the scars, but they're faded and worth the trade-off.  My PS took 4 lbs skin off my thighs, and they went from 25 inches around to 21.

Thanks for the info.    4lbs of skin is a lot.  The difference must be amazing!  I'll have to get one of those raised toilet seats-maybe that will help.

Yes, it would definitely help.  The other thing that realy helped me is something called a Freshette, that I purchased from amazon.com.  It's basically a funnel that lets you urinate standing up like a man.  It worked really well, making me totally jealous of my husband :)

Did you try "writing" your name in the snow?

PS did great job on your thighs.

Never, and I mean NEVER, trust a fart!!

Thanks for posting those, Joanne -- you look awesome! I am scheduled to have anchor TT and thigh lift together on July 16th. (Fingers crossed, because I was originally scheduled for May 30th and had to delay because my gall bladder went crazy and I instead had to have that out that week.) Oh well, now the PS can fix those laparascopy scars too!)

My thighs look similar to your before pic -- if I can acheive the same result as you, I'd be thrilled!

Joanne ,WOW!  That is probably the best result I have seen.  I will be delighted to get similar results!

 Thanks!

I used Dr Joe Capella in Ramsey NJ.  I had a LBL, BL/BA, Arm Lift, and Inner Thigh Lift.

I'm very happy!

If the rest of you looks as good as your thighs, I bet you're happy!!  Did you combine surgeries?
