Which surgery's would you have first?  LBL with BL or Arms and Thigh Lift? or LBL with Arms or Thigh Lift with BL.  I will need all four surgery's not sure what order?  Yes, I know Dr S does everything at once.  I am leaning on two operations I don't want to be in surgery more than 7 hours at a time.

Thanks,
Nance

Even though I'm going with Dr. S to do it all in one shot, if I were going to break it up, I'm not sure I'd want to do my arms and my thighs together. Seems like it would  be better to have one working set of limbs during recovery :-p

What about a lbl + thighs and BL + arms?

I agree, lump together the upper body procedures and lower body procedures. I did my arms along with a BA revision, and that's how my surgeon wanted it. When you do stuff with your breasts you need to really minimize arm movement anyway, because it flexes the pec muscle underneath the breast, and jostles the area. So if you're healing your arms at the same time, you're even less likely to overdo it by reaching for stuff constantly etc.

Though I gotta be honest, having LBL + thigh lift sounds like absolute hell. I'm sure people have done it, but you're gonna have to be prepared to be pretty much immobile for like 2 weeks. If it were me, I'd do it in 3 stages: upper body (easiest recovery), then LBL, then thigh lift. But I know that having 3 recoveries isn't feasible for many people, do what you gotta do!

I have heard what you don't want to do is lbl with thighs, because it's the same area and pulling skin in two different directions. I just did (1mo ago) extended tt and arms together, and it was great. I think lbl with breast would be good too. So in my opinion I would do lbl and thighs separate, and add arms and breast to either one I don't think it would matter much. My tummy tuck goes almost all the way around, I had no problems getting up, didn't need a special chair, no problems using the bathroom etc. Best of luck on your surgeries.

I did LBL w/ Arms and BL/BA w/ Thighs. My surgeon wouldn't do a Thigh Lift w/ the LBL. Said it pulled in 2 different directions and didn't get as good of results. Also wouldn't do an LBL w/ BL/BA as he thought I'd be under for too long so it left the combo I went with.

My advice would be to do whichever procedures matter most to you first.  I think I had an intuition about what my recovery would be like, and felt that if my recovery was particularly difficult, I'd be too chicken to go under the knife again.  So, when my PS said he didn't want to keep me under for more than 6-7 hours, and that he wouldn't be able to do all of my procedures at the same time, I decided to do the extended abdominoplasty and breast reduction.  I'm really glad I chose that path, because I did end up having a complicated recovery, and even if I don't go through with the brachioplasty, I'm SO MUCH HAPPIER than I was before my surgeries, and I could live with sticking with only what has already been done.

My 2 cents, FWIW,
