Apply at http://www.carecredit.com/

It's the same. Yes, plastic is expensive! CareCredit offers some good promotions, like three years interest free, but very few doctors participate in that plan. My surgeon offers one year interest free, or a three year rate at 14%. If you put around 5000.00 on the card, your payment for three years at 14% would be around 180.00 a month, I think. They have a calculator on their website to help you figure out how much it would be depending on how much you borrow.

I like www.lendingclub.com better. It's peer to peer lending. If you do that, don't tell them it's for a medical loan because the interest is more. Just say "home improvement" or something like that. They don't check. People fund your loan in about three days, and you fax a copy of your paystubs and id to the office. They deposit your money the next day and take your payments out of your checking account every month. You can also pay it off early if you want.
