Picture of my new tummy...
It's tough to photograph my own tummy since I can't get more than an arms-length away, but here's a picture of my new tummy and new belly button at three days post extended tummy tuck. I need to take some more recent ones already, as my new belly button is looking better by the day. I think she did a great job of giving my new belly button a nice shape.
One thing that a person might not think about when having a tummy tuck is the movement of scars, freckles, and moles. Those two darkish areas near my belly button are my old gastric bypass revision scars that used to be just under my boobs pre-tummy tuck, lol. They are much flatter now, and I think they won't be too obvious once I'm all healed. I don't have any stretch marks or creases.
The odd lines are marks left from my binder that I had taken off just before snapping this photo. I am very happy with my results so far. I did not have any lipo. Just a tummy tuck. I did not have all that much skin to remove, but have aways been a little "thick" through the middle. so it's really nice to have a flat tummy now. Maybe I'll get brave enough to post a before pic soon. I'm not super skinny like some of you girls (5'10" and 168 pounds at 52 years of age).
Can't wait to get rid of these stupid drains. OUCH! They have been the only negative part of this experience so far. Maybe Tuesday...
EDIT: Just realized that OH cut off part of my photo, but if you right click and chose "view photo", you can see the entire photo.

You look great! Yay for flat bellies!I had a great time in Costa Rica when went for my facelift with Dr. Lev in March. I really enjoyed staying at CheTica Ranch. I may be heading back in February or March for arms and a breast lift. It's a gorgeous country, but you already know that, of course!
Thanks Kelly. Hope you are healing well. You had so much more done that I did, and from the last post that I saw you write, it sounds like you are doing really well. I think the drains are the worst part, for two reasons. First, they hurt! Mine pull every time I move, and it's like getting stung by bees all day long. Secondly, it's impossible to try on clothes with these thing in. I'm hoping to get mine out tomorrow.
At any rate, I have NO regrets. A few weeks of pain is totally worth the results.
