Too Old For Plastics?

Hi, I am 55 years old and would be looking to do plastics at 56 years old. I have lost 80 pounds and will lose another 50 lbs before surgery for a total of 130 pounds. Am I being unrealistic to believe I can have plastics on my cellulite thighs and tummy? I will have a lot of loose skin, and I do not mind scars. I see alot of pictures of members and they look great! Anyone out there that had surgery after age 50 please let me know what you think?

Where is it stated that there is an age limit for plastics? Obviously, I missed it.

On May 2nd, I had an arm lift and neck lift. On July 16th, I'll be 56.

You can have plastics on any part of your body you wish! Go for it.

I am 56 and just had a prophylactic bilateral mastectomy with reconstruction from my abdomen. I healed nicely after the surgery and am continueing to progress as each day goes by. I am also planning on having my thighs done. So go for it.

You are NOT too old! I'll be 52 next month, and I just had a facelift and a tummy tuck. I could not be happier. I do regret not having the tummy tuck earlier, but I am thrilled with my results. When I had my facelift, I was in Costa Rica with quite a few other surgical patients, many of whom where over 60. All of them looked SO much better after surgery, and all of them loved their results.

I always thought that cosmetic surgery was actually meant for women who were 50-70 years of age, anyway. Go for it. You won't regret it at all!

I had my tummy tuck at 53.

I am thrilled with the results.

I look normal...no super model, just healthy.

I healed well from all surgeries.

Nope! I'll be 55 in August and about to start plastics. Other health problems are more of an issue that age IMHO,

I was almost 59 when I had an LBL, BL, arms and medial thigh lift... 4 days later a full neck and facelift. I'm now 60 and love my new Body by Sauceda. I will be going back for an UBL next Jan. Didn't think my back was that bad, until everything else was cleaned up and new. I did take 8 weeks for my recovery before going back to work. I took 8 weeks off for my DS too, that was 4 yrs ago.

I am 52 and just had my FDL tummy tuck. I will be 53 when I have my lower butt lift and outer thigh lift. You are only as old as you feel. We all deserve a finished body after the massive weight loss. Some of us can get it sooner, others later. I wish everybody could have the opportunity if they want it.
