Dr. Katzen
I recieved my APPROVAL letter today from my insurance and I was so excited to get a date. You can imagine my surprise when I learned the earliest he can do my surgery is Sept 8th, and that is with him opening on a Saturday for me. I know he is busy cause he does excellant work and I am willing to wait, but 3 months seems like forever from now. Yikes
Has anyone gone to Dr. Katzen? I am just wondering if anyone would share their opinions with me. Or does anyone have any advice on what I can be doing to prepare my body for this procedure. I am REALLY excited but nervous about the 3 month wait.....will be 5 months from first visit, to surgery date.

I don't know the doctor, but wanted to tell you that I had to wait three months for the first available appointment for a tummy tuck with my surgeon in Pensacola, FL. Guess this lousy economy has not hurt the cosmetic surgery business much, huh. I know it sounds like FOREVER, but it will be here before you know it, and probably, before you are ready, lol. I had a million things that I still needed to finish before my surgery, even though I had three long months to prepare.
HaHaHa so true. I guess for something I have waited almost 7 years for, 3 months isn't that long in the grand scheme of things. I guess I will spend the next 3 months working my core out like crazy, eating healthy and enjoying my summer with the kiddos. ;-)
Picking a doctor is a very stressful process. I really had my mind made up with Dr. Katzen, then wanted another and God lead me back to Dr. Katzen. Any former/current Dr. Katzen patients out there? He has over 200 awesome reviews on this site, so I know I am in good hands and have changed my disappointment to a happy dance.

look up "sarahwillbeskinny" on youtube. She's a major promoter for Dr. Katzen and a total sweetheart. WLSFA has helped her tons with the costs and her results are pheonominal!! He did her body lift I think about 8 months ago? I may be totally wrong on the date though.

a total of 271 lbs lost!!
I would be doing a ton of exercising between now and then, espeically yoga type stretches to build up your core. It will help a lot post op with your recovery plus you will look even better.
