When should you have PS (especially if you have a LOT of weight to lose)?

I can't respond in full as I am sorta fuzzy on pain meds lol. I was up to 366 lost down to between 200 and 197. I just had my tt and stuff last week.. I am also only 5'5.. I think that If you know you have weight to lose its good to get close to your goal nd start your consults. My doctors said I was rdy at 220 pounds I personally wanted to hit my goal of under 200. They removed 15 pounds last week. Good luck on your journey and congrats on your success so far!

I sure would recommend waiting until you are at goal or at least all the fat is gone from an area. I would have hated to have to do arm lift or whatever twice because I wasn't at goal. That being said, I had my lower belt lipectomy with Dr. Aly when I seemed to have stabilized out on my weight. He took 20lbs skin and fat, so it was the right thing to do then. After that, I continued (after swell hell completed itself ) trending downward weight wise, and when I had my upper body ift and arms done in march 2010, it was about 5 to 10 more pounds......when I had my vertical and spiral thigh lift on June 11th, my weight was still around 154. We will see tomorrow when we go to my post op appointment how I have swollen up!
