I have been at my goal for about a year. I have been working out like crazy for the past year and have built up my muscles, but that only goes so far, so now time for plastic surgery to complete my new body look. Does it make any difference having muscles and having worked out in preparation of the plastic surgery or would being flabby have been the same to the recovery and work the doctor has to do. Does this make sense? I am a female in my mid-50's.

It absolutely makes a difference...the doctor can only work with what he has...give him flabby, he can only do so much.....give him toned, he can do more. My doctor told me "this surgery is 50% you, 50% me."

I've been working out attempting to sculpt muscle under the masses of skin I have. I can see them in my arms when I flex but it doesn't look so good on the bottom half of my arm with all the hanging loose skin :( I've been working my core out like a crazy lady in hopes of nice tight abs when I'm finally able to get plastics done!
