No, I haven't, but I will now!!! LOL! Also, is it weird that I wanna know what the skin looks like and how much it weighed after they cut it off me?

 I love realself.com!

I think it's completely normal (accused of being a bit OCD myself, in general tho ;)) to be doing tons of research, looking at photos, etc. I couldn't stomach watching any videos but I've done a lot of research. Now afterwards, I'm still looking up stuff but it's different like about swelling, etc.

Tell them you're just trying to prepare yourself emotionally and mentally for anything that could happen. Also to me, it was a bit calming to do the research so maybe it is to you also.

Good luck!

It's is normal but not everyone outcome is perfect and what I think they are trying to say is you need to remember that.  No body who was MO walks away looking like a model when they are done, rather it be scars or still some flab or skin somewhere, they want you to be happy but not get your hopes up so high you can never be satisfied.  And really you will do what you need done and thats it, plastic surgery isn't pain free surgery, I doubt anyone is running back all the time to get lots more done.

I looked at all the same things you did and went in hoping for the best and am thrilled with my tt, but let me tell you having my neck lift was painful and unpleasant and then it sagged again, yeah major let down.  I had my arms done and my neck revised, my arms are not as tight as I would like and my neck still has a little sag.  Not even close to perfect but better.

Good Luck and I hope you get all your dreams fullfilled.

Right there with you!  My surgery isn't until November, but I'm checking this board every day!  I too want to know everything there is to know so I can be prepared.  I think it is completely normal, and Heidi made some good points too.

Can't wait to see your results!!

Until you start to look like Joan RIvers I'd say you are OK.   This is a huge decision and at least for me, a one shot deal and I want to make sure I get the best outcome possible.  I know what you mean though, because I'm even dreaming about it! lol
Good luck in your journey!

LOL! I'm totally dreaming about it too! I think I have had a dream about it every night since I made the decision to go through with it. So, I had my pre-op yesterday, it was 3 hours and not so bad. I purchased my garments and my herbal supplements. They did all my before pictures...that was weird! When I got into the photo room, the photographer told me "toss your robe and all your modesty aside!" Then they took 16 before pictures! Then I paid for the surgery. There's no turning back now! Next Friday here I come!

I was so OCD, it was insane!  I still am!  I'm not done with my plastics yet!  I think it's good for us to be that way!  We get our ducks in a row and we are prepared!  It's normal and good!
