My doc wouldn't do all of my procedures at one time - LBL, lipo of outer thigh, inner thigh lift, arm lift, and breast lift / aug. His opinion is that the risk for infection and the healing time outweigh the convenience. The surgeries are being split into two stages.
I also agree that you should get a consult now to see what the p.s. says you should do.
Good luck!

I am doing a lower body lift w/ buttock augmentation and a medial thigh lift in one procedure. My surgeon won't do more than that because he feels that after 6-7 hours the patient experiences swelling from the IVs and it can have a negative impact on the work. I don't know if other surgeons have that same policy, but it made sense to me. Heaven knows, I want the best outcome!
Like Lee I had it all done at once, with an epidural and twilight sedation. I did have just the front to back groin lift instead of the long thigh lift. The LBL also included inserting fat from the lower back into my upper butt to help round it out.
If you click on Dr Sauceda in my siggy line, it'll take you over to his group. We have one lady having surgery today and two more on Fri & Sat. There is a group photo section also. Some have passwords and some don't.
