 Hi Im Andy
I had RYN in Aug 2009 and have lost over 300 LBS ,now I want skin removed. The problem is im on Medicare only.Is there any plastic surgeons in Maryland who accept Medicare or anywhere in the US if I have no option. If there is a surgeon that would like to do it for free im even happier, but I know thats fantasy land.If you know any Plastic surgeons in MD. who accept Medicare can you list their address name and phone number?
Thanks for reading :)

Sorry I have no advice, I'm paying out of pocket for my PS even with insurance.  BUT, I wanted to say congratulations on your weight loss and good luck :)

My suggestion is to look into the plastic surgery departments at U Maryland or Johns Hopkins.  I think it very unlikely that they would NOT accept medicare.

I suggest you just start calling around. Do you have documentation from your PCP regarding problems due to your excess skin? If not, start trying to collect some.

Did you ask on the Maryland forum?

Good luck and congrats on your loss.
