Scary butt right after LBL?

I am 8 days post op and saw a pic of my rear. Does the appearance of the butt improve throughout the healing process? My butt is a little scary looking, looks like a 90 yr olds butt. I'm really happy with how my stomach and outer thighs look, especially before the swelling kicks  in.  In case it matters, I got lipo of the outer thighs too and did not have fat transferred to the butt (I've always had a big butt even when I was tiny).

Can anyone relate?

I was waiting to see if anyone else responded to you before responding since I havent experienced that. Mine is pretty plump since I did have fat transfer. The only thing I can say is that I constantly hear that it takes 6 months to see your true results.

Check out your surgeons website to see how the other peoples butts turned out. :)

I had fat transfer and butt flap augmentation.  My butt was very round and perky right after surgery, probably from the swelling.  Now at 5 months post op, I see the lower part of my butt getting droopy again.  I'm doing a lot of hill hiking to try to get that puppy back up there.

You're only 8 days out.  Way too soon to have any clue what you will actually look like.  Hang in there and rest, take your vitamins and get in lots of fluids and protein.  I bet you're going to look great!

I didn't have a LBL but I had an extended TT last week and the incisions almost touch in the back. He did my flanks and some lipo above my butt & he said he lifted my butt too a little. My butt looks worse now than before and because of the swelling in the flanks and area of my back above my butt, it seriously looks like I have TWO butts, one on top of the other. I trust that once the swelling finally goes down, it'll look normal again. If you're concerned, you should definitely ask. I'm sure they get questions like that all the time.

ETA: My PS surgeon said its swelling and definitely too early to see what it'll actually look like once all the swelling goes down. He's a perfectionist & highly recommended so I trust him. They say it typically takes 2-3 months minimum to see final results and since you're only 8 days out like me, I'm sure you have a lot of swelling and stuff going on that will take awhile to resolve.

Thank you everyone  for the feedback.  I think the initial shock and panic has worn off and I've calmed. My butt is definitely swollen so I'm going to be patient and see how it changes in the upcoming months.

Mine was scary in tht it was pulled up super tight and my anus looked weird (like it was pulled open). My butt seems to have settled looks normal now.
