 Hi,

I caught the tail end of a show on Terri Gross on NPR about boobie jobs, and they were talking about the loss of sensation in the nipples after a boob job.  Have any of you experienced this? Is this common.

No loss of sensation here. Mine are actually more sensitive now.

Just had breast reduction/lift yesterday and when the nurse touched them today to test whether or not I'd feel it, I did!

I am five months post lift. My right nippe came back a few months ago. My left is much slower but it coming back.  Interestingly enough, I wasn't able to massage the left one as much because it was too tender and the incisions are healing much slower than the right.

I had a reduction and a lift about 4 years ago. No lose of sensation here.
Infact, they are more sensitive. Everyone is different. You have to go into
surgery knowing that lose of sensation is a possibility.

But WOW will they look good after.

Mine was last August. I have most of my sensation back now...not quite the same as it was before, but almost.

One thing I have noticed is that I have a greater tendency to "headlights" if you know what I mean. Must wear padded bras!! Lol
