Is it normal to feel the skin pull? When I sit down, I feel like the incision around my butt is pulling. I can't figure out a way to prevent this and dont want to open it up  Also, the nurse told me to watch hunched over and this pulls at my rear incision too. Am I overthinkIng this?

I would use a little extra caution.... I dont think you should be able to feel it pulling. My surgeon uses a different technique, and I never had to worry about pulling on my back incision. That having been said, and majority of the surgeons still use the basic technique from what I understand, and you should be careful. If it really does feel like its pulling then its better to be safe than sorry, give your surgeons office a call and see what they have to say.
Sorry I couldnt be of more help, but I hope everything is ok, and that you heal quickly.

Hi, I had an extended tummy tuck but my incision goes around my back on each side and almost touch. I would definitely call your PS and ask about the pulling feeling. It might just be the tightness and be normal but they should be able to tell you that. Also tell them how you feel that too when you're walking. I'm supposed to walk hunched over for 2 weeks. I kinda slouch and roll my shoulders forward, my torso is kinda straight but leans forward a little and my knees are slightly bent. I take much smaller strides than I used to and I don't feel any pulling on my back incisions when I walk. Carefully experiment a little with your posture as you walk. Maybe you're hunching too much and/or bending at your waist too much or something. I hope you figure it out and have a quick and easy recovery!
