Hi all,
I havent been on this site in ages but im having a LBL and an arm lift tomorrow and
im absolutely terrified. How bad is the pain really? My doctor told me that in 4-6 weeks i should be doing ok. Is that true? Any feedback would be greatly appreciated. Thanks!!

I had a LBL and arm lift at the same time.  Dont be terrified.  Be prepared that for a few days you will need pain medication, but you will be able to get comfortable.  You will have to make slow and deliberate movements and take it easy, but it's all manageable.  And you will bounce back.

Yes, you should be fine in 4-6 weeks.  Maybe sooner.  The swelling and tightness last much longer than actual pain.

I see you're in NJ.  Where are you having your surgery?  I had mine in Hackensack with Dr Capella.

Good luck tomorrow. From all my reading you should be OK. You will probably have discomfort for a week, but the payoff will be totally worth it.
