 Hi folks:

I had my first round of pre-op tests yesterday.  I showed up at the outpatient hospital at 8:30 AM and went home at 2:00 PM.  What a day.  I have two tests left to be done on Friday morning starting at 8:30 AM and then I should be good to go for surgery next Thursday.  I haven't gotten nervous yet but I am really excited.  Hard to believe I have only nine days left to go, it seems that I was just asking folks when I should start the process for interviewing surgeons back in March.  Time is definitely flying now.

I hear you girl on all of it!
Until less than a week ago I wasn't even sure I'd be approved!
Finished all my tests and Th I will be in hospitZl for the pre-op of various doctors and personnel.
My hospital admit is 15/05 and surgery the following day.
We can be surgery buddies if you like.

Are all these tests out-of-pocket, and if so, what do you expect the cost will be?

I am hoping that my insurance will cover most of them because of the hernia issue.  I still expect to pay about $1000 after everything is said and done.
