Had VSG surgery in Oct.I wore a 44 ddd I lost 85 lbs so far . Well the boobs went down to a 38 dd or ddd but it's mostly skin when i try to wear a smaller size the skin just don't fit into the cup without spillage. and I want to wear a strapless bra so bad but can't . they still feel heavy. went to my regular dr. my back hurts my shoulder hurts from the bra straps . well she referred me to a PS i call them on mon. but I know he will make me stand there braless and they are down to my belly button how embrassing is that. when I was young I wore a 36c would love to be a small c or a b cup . will I need a implant or not don't know anything about this subject. thank you

That is great your weight loss and a referral for PS.
Document any and every thing for your insurance as it might be covered as medical and not cosmetic! See an ortho for back pain and see if it can br written up as dur to hanging pendulous boobs;
Skin rash under boobs?
Wishing you the best on this your co yinues journey.

I think the doctor will have to make that call based on how much breast tissue you have left. I had nothing but hanging skin left - very little tissue and opted for silicone implants and a lift. If I had gone with just a lift, I would have been very small - probably an A. I was very conservative and ended up a D. In clothes, it isn't very obvious that I've had them done except in some of my clingier t-shirts. In a swimsuit - they look huge! LOL I'm very happy with my results. I left the actual implant size up to the doctor. I brought pics of the size/shape I'd like and ended up with 325 high profile. Originally thought around 400 moderate profile. He did what he thought looked proportionate to the rest of me.

 My "girls" were pretty deflated - gone from a 44DD or DDD to a C cup full of skin and not much else.

I didn't have implants - I just had a lift.  My surgeon "kept" all but the skin and use my own tissue to make me some new boobies.  I'm a nice, round, C cup now.

I have pics on my profile if you're a friend...

 I was a 42DD before WLS.  Last summer I was a 34DD. I think I lost more breast tissue before December.

I opted for a lift without implants.  Dr. Sauceda made me gorgeous breasts. I am very pleased.  I was recently measured at Victoria Secret as 32/34 DD.  They may go down to a D cup as I might still have a bit of swelling from plastics.  I could not be happier.

I'm 6 weeks out from having BL with silicone implants...plus TT and TL. I was a very un-even A cup with just empty sagging skin. My thighs were a mess and my tummy hung from 3 large baby c-sections and a lifetime of weight gain/loss. I thought I would be mortified with the consult and the mulitple future photo sessions.

My PS and his staff are wonderful and it is amazing that I felt comfortable with such a new and potentially embarrassing situation.

I think you will find you won't be embarrassed. These physicians have seen it all and assuming you have researched this doctor you will find they and their staff are professional and somehow make each visit no big deal.

I have had about 7 post op visits in 5 weeks and basically sit there naked and we go over every inch of his work. Of course I've got a paper drape on but it really has not been bad. My doctor asked to take a photo 4 weeks out. I hadn't done my hair and went with a baseball cap on....I said "oh no! my hair looks terrible"....he laughed and said we don't include your head!!!!!  This plastic surgery journey has really taught me to take it one step at a time and to let so much go.

Hang in there! It's not easy, but so worth it.
