Butt results from LBL

A LBL should absolutely help with the butt issue. WHen I had my TT I wanted to make sure that it wasn't a LBL that I needed...and he said that because my back side had a nice shape I didn't need it...so I think that is the big difference if you need some butt work.
I hear great things about the surgeon you are choosing...I think you are making a great choice and are in good hands.
I love my TT so I am sure you will be extremely happy.

keep us posted.

good luck

Thank you Patty...I wish I could have a TT and use the funds for my face.  It has been a hard decision for me to make.  All along my husband has wanted me to have the LBL first.  I have a very small mirror in my bothroom.  As a result, I can easily live in denial if I choose...which is what I have been doing.  Last night I made the effort to look at my backside, and I'm telling you it was everything I could do not to cry.  There is no getting around what massive weight loss does to our bodies, especially at my age.

Thank you for the support.  I'll be calling his office next week.

I have some before and after LBL pictures on my profile but your right, they do not show the difference in my butt.  However, the difference is huge!  Prior to my lbl my butt was full of dimples and cellulite.  All those dimples are now gone and I have a much smaller and smoother bottom.  There is still a bit of sag towards the lower butt crease area but for a 51 year old I think it looks great.  The outer thigh area was also greatly improved.

Go for the LBL, I think you will love it!

P.S.  The way I decided which one to do first was by my surgeon asking me, "If you could only do one plastic surgery, which one would it be?"  Looking at it that way, I picked the LBL to be done first and I am so happy I did.  It seems to give you the most dramatic results.  I went from wearing a size 10 prior to my LBL to a size 4 six weeks later.  Between the extra skin and lipo, my surgeon removed almost 17 lbs.  My combination breast/arm lift is scheduled for June 11th. My face/neck lift is scheduled for August 15th.  My thigh lift is scheduled for October 15th.

Thank you so much.  That is what my husband has been telling me.  He believes I wil have the greatst impact with the LBL.

Congratulations on having all your work scheduled.  As soon as I send this, I'm going to your profile.  Thats for the input.

Today i am 2 months post LBL.

I did not have much excess skin on my backside, but the lift did wonders for my outer thigh and made my butt look 10 years younger.  It lifted it somewhat, made it look narrower but still curvy, and smoothed out the lumps and bumps of cellulite.  While the difference is not nearly as drastic as on the front, i'm very happy with the results.

You have great legs even before surgery.  Your legs are toned.  You look fantastic.  Your surgeon did a really great job, but he had something great to work with.  I can definitely see the improvement in your butt.  You had a nice shape even before surgery.  I have completely lost roundness.  Mine is totally deflated with 3 layers of skin that hang on the back of my legs.  After seeing your before, I realize now more than ever my surgeon has a huge task ahead of him. How long was your surgery.  During the consult Dr. L. reserved 8 hours for the LBL and thigh lift.  Is that fairly standard?   I wish this surgery did not scare me so.  Are your open wonds healing, and is that fairly common.  Is there not too much that can be done to prevent that other than extreme care?
