Tomorrow Is My Turn!

Arm lift and neck lift at 10:00 a.m.

Excited, nervous, scared - you know the feelings.

Thanks to everyone for their words of wisdom.  I hope I have everything ready.

Lee - I have been practicing for the past several weeks getting up without using my arms.  The best thing I can say is that it is interesting.

I am so happy for you. We wait so long and then when the day comes it is a scary and happy day:):):) You will rock the party and do great. Say a prayer and leave yourself in God's hands.

I hope your surgery went well. You'll love your new neck and arms. I just had my neck done, and it's amazing to be free of that ugly sagging skin. Feel better soon!

I did it!  Let me tell you one thing for sure - this PS is no joke.  You don't realize how often you need your arms.

Surgery was on 05/02, released from hospital on 05/03 and had drains and some stitches removed on 05/08.

Each day gets better and better.  Having range or motion for my arms is exciting.  Still have several stitches near the ears/hairline which will be removed next Tuesday.

Can't drive yet and I wouldn't trust myself.  Not enough ability to turn my head to see. 

It will be a while before I can post pictures (need to learn how first), but I am very excited with what I see.
