I really appreciate your post and am very curious to research the death(s).  I had surgery with Dr. Ramirez 3 years ago and did my due diligence prior to surgery.

i arrived at the "hospital" to discover it was more of a clinic and by no means a hospital.  The room I was given had a constantly clogged toilet and no soap available.  I figured it was oversight, but when Dr. Ramirez arrived,I discovered he had no reviewed any of my medical records, most notably that I had a pulmonary embolism and acute pancreatitis after gastric bypass surgery.  Additionally, that those complications had resulted in a month long coma with me on a ventilator.  Needless to say, it was a massive failure on his part and he simply responded that he couldn't read them because they were in English.  Because I had spent a few thousand and had already traveled there, I felt forced to move forward.  I was wheeled into the operating room...almost, but they poorly designed clinic required them to hoist me on a sheet over a 1/2 wall to staff on the other side and then in through the recovery room to the OR.  I awoke from surgery in significant pain, having had a thigh lift, arm lift, abdominiolasty and liposuction.  I was in so much pain that I was literally screaming at the top of my lungs for hours, begging for medicine.  I was told the entire evening, night and following day that the doctor was "on his way".  Dr. Ramirez never arrived until the following day at which time he said "this isn't the U.S. where we fix everything with narcotics".  Literally I had all those procedures with absolutely no narcotic, I was just given an over-the-counter anti-inflammatory.  There where many more concerns including the lack of medical monitoring post-surgery.  He was rather skilled as a surgeon I thought but he was ****y and totally irresponsible.  -Max

So interesting to see you post an update to your original post requesting info. Your account is horrifying to say the least.
