Getting back on surgery schedule

Well, I was scheduled for surgery right before Christmas, but cancelled because I was completely flipping out about possibly being down over the holidays.

Have an appointment for next week to get back on schedule. Was planning on a lbl, but the more I've been thinking about it, I really want to do the things that bother me most while I'm dressed first, and then deal with some other areas.  So..I'm planning tummy tuck with muscle repair and arms. The girls do okay with a bra right now, and my hips/rear aren't actually that bad.

Hopefully I can find time on the calendar that will work for me and the surgeon. With three kids that are in EVERYTHING, it gets dicey at times.

Keep your fingers crossed!

Good luck and hopefully you can get on the schedule soon. You should be fine getting back to things w/ the kids soon. I had a full LBL & brachio and was out doing things at 2 weeks. Just would get tired easy but it's doable. Also was back at work full time after only 4 weeks.

Good for you! I don't blame you for not wanting to be down for the holidays. I don't think there's ever a good time for this kind of thing, though. Recovery pretty much flies by, and you'll be back on your feet before you know it.

Like you, I was scheduled for body work (TT and Breast Lift), but changed my mind about three weeks before surgery because I so badly wanted to do my face first. I went to Costa Rica for a facelift, upper and lower eyes, brow lift, and chin implant on March 7th. Recovery has been super easy except for annoying swelling that comes and goes. I'm trying different things, like cutting back on my salt, because it's the pits not knowing if I'm going to wake up swollen or not. It's not a huge issue, but more of an annoyance.

I am enjoying my new neckline so much that I decided to do a TT in June. My stomach is my biggest problem now. I had some old saline implants removed during my facelift, and like you said, I can hide the boobs until I finish everything else. I may never even fool with them since I don't want implants again.

Anyway, good luck with your surgeries!!
