I'm paying out of pocket. The surgeon is giving me a discount of $300 (a laughable miniscule amount, but it's the gesture that counts) for paying cash.

I sold my house (not just for plastics.. I got separated and couldn't afford the mortgage anyway) and used the proceeds for my plastics.

I have saved the majority of my money, but the rest I will borrow from my 401K.

Insurance is paying for my Panni portion and I'm paying the difference for the full TT. It's going to be $2300 and will come from savings. Just waiting on a date and final insurance approval!

I paid the fully 16k out of pocket, and will be doing the same for my brachio, and breast lift. I refuse to pay interest on anything unless I have to, and insurance doesn't cover any plastic for me :(

I guess I'm the luckiest! My pannilectomy was covered by my HMO as was the hospitalization with the debridement and WoundVac treatment for almost seven weeks! I did have tO go thru a Medical Review.
I want further plastics (mastopexy and scar revision) but my HMO refused as "not medically neccessary". I am appealing and waiting for an answer as surgery is scheduled for mid-May.

Hello, your pic is beautiful. I am going through care credit for most of it and 2,500 out of pocket. no insurance and doubt they would pay anyway.
