Extra Breast Skin.....

I am wondering/worrying about sagging skin. During breast lift/augmentations do they normally remove that extra skin?? I was just thinking my breast were HUGE before weight loss. The "filling" is gone but the outter shell is still there. I'm afraid that if they fill the shell back up I'll look rather odd with a smaller frame and HUGE breasts.

Oh no, a lift will remove all the extra skin and only leave what is needed to make a nice augmented breast.

Great, thank you!! I think I assumed it would be a problem because I saw someone with VERY large breast. I guess that wasn't because of any extra skin, it was just her desire.

I decided not to augment. Dr. Sauceda told me he could make beautiful breasts for me with just the lift.  I am 61 and didn't want implants if I could avoid them.

Before WLS? I was a 42DD. Last summer I was 34DD.  Three months after mt lift I got measured at VS.  They said I am currently a 32/34 DD.  it looks great on my frame. I am 5'4" and currently wearing a S top or S petite with 6-8 jeans depending on brand.

All that extra skin is gone!  Once your breasts are lifted, your abdomen will look so small!  I posted pics of my abdomen here in this forum a couple weeks ago.

I'm getting sooooo excited about all of the possibilities. I know that right now my breast look super small. I know that is only because they are soooo soft and smashable..lol. You all have been such a great resource. I can't wait to share what the doctor says.

Lee,

What did you get done with Dr. Sauceda for your first round of plastics?  I read that you were going to use 20K for your house and decided to use it with dr. S.  I know that the costs depends on the work that he needs to do for a particual individual, but it will give me an idea on how much I have to save. I am hoping to get my LBL, arm lift, and butt enhancement on my first round of plastics.   I am meeting Dr. S in Las Vegas in June for an official quote.  I can't wait to see him!

Have you decided if you are coming to Vegas?

I had everything done in the first round. I'm glad you are going to meet Dr.Sauceda.  You'll really feel confident after meeting him.

I dont think that I will get to go.  My son invited me to visit in NYC at the same time to celebrate the end of classes at NYU.  Since I've been unemployed all year, I can't afford to do both trips.

Like you, my breasts were fairly large; about 44DD.  Now, they are uber deflated.  So I won't really look good with just a lift.  I need an augmentation as well to give me the slope up top.  I'm thinking I want to be a D, but I just want to make sure that I will be able to still fit my Medium shirts with the size D breasts.

I am a DD and fit small shirts.  I think that the band size makes a difference.  I am petite on top so it's not a problem.   I have a perfect fullness without the implants, no slope, but every surgeon is different.

Yes, that sounds like me 44DD before now I'm in a 36/38DD. I think implants will work well for me but I plan to take the surgeon's suggestions into serious consideration before making my final decision.
