And I only have my consultation date. I don't know what I'm going to do when/if I get a surgery date! I have about 4 things that I would like done but right now the most important things to me are an arm lift and breast augmentation. I would LOVE my upper body to in shape just in time for summer. More than anything I'd like to get rid of the heavy skin on my arms that seem to weigh me down.

I'm so excited about the endless options and I'm very happy that I started reading here. I now know that their are teaching schools that also perform plastics in case the doctor that I am seeing is WAY too expensive. I'm so optimistic and excited!!!

OMG CONGRATS!! I feel the same way - I have a consult May 7!! I am beyond excited! I too have about 4 things I want to get "fixed" but myyy main things are my arms/thighs. The next things I want are my boobs/tummy but I'm trying to focus on the most important things first. We'll see what happens though...
Anyway, yay! I'm so happy for you (and me)!!
p.s.- Thanks for reminding me about the schools that do it for cheaper! I'm gonna look up one here in AZ!

Congratulations!! This is so exciting! I have lost probably all of the weight I'm going to lose in my upper body (prior to any weight from the arm skin coming off) so I figured I would start there. I have a little more weight that I'm hoping to lose from my lower body.

I look forward to sharing what I find out in a week or so as well as how your visit turns out!

Thanks for the request!!

I am not sure if there is a website or not. I originally heard about the schools here and then someone shared one that is in Chicago. I googled information on the hospital I had been given the name of. I think if you call your local hospital they can help OR googling plastic surgery teaching hospitals or clinics for your state.

Good Luck!

I understand completely.

I did my arms and a breast lift first because those bothered me the most.

Actually, I was just going tomdomthe arms, but added the breast lift because it did not increase the price too much.

Then, 6 weeks ago, I had a tummy tuck.

I am 99% sure that I am done now, but then I look at my thighs ... LOL and I think maybe 1 more!!!!!!

Best of luck to you!
Kath

Awesome. Thank you for the well wishes.

Did you do implants with your lift and how do you feel with the results?

I'm having a breast lift, augmentation, and tummy tuck on May 16th. When I went in to see the surgeon, all I really wanted was the lift and augmentation. However, after my mother saw me half naked she thought it would be wise to invest in the tummy tuck as well. That was something I had on the back burner because I have no kids and I was worried I'd just ruin it if I decide to have them in the future. Nevertheless, the doctor did ease my fears so I'm okay with the extra procedure.

Just like you, I have a ton of things I want to get done. But I'm going to start with this and see how it goes. I would love to get my arms and thighs done in the future.

It's exciting to get to this point! I had BL/BA almost 8 weeks ago. I am thrilled with the results! It seems like many go for the lower half plastics first, but not me. I have always had a belly, but this is the first time I didn't have breasts (just hanging skin) and that bothered me the most. I went with silicone implants, under muscle. Now that I am mostly healed, they are soft and natural feeling. They still have a little settling to do, but they look good and pretty natural to me. I had a lollipop incision. I'm sure it was a much easier recovery than the crease incision would have been. I would not have been happy with just a lift. I had so little breast tissue left, I would probably have ended up an A cup. I am a D cup currently. That's what I was before losing weight.
