1month post TT

I had my 1mo th post op appointment today.
The surgeon is thrilled with my results.

I am cleared to soak in the tub and hot tub (said it could cause some excess swelling and to hydrate more).

In 2 weeks, I can start running again.

I have a small amount of puffiness right below my belly button.

He will continue to monitor that. He said that if there is anything there at month 10, that he will lipo it for free.

I will see him again in 3 months, then at 7, 10 and 12 months.

Of course, sooner, if I have any problems.

I can wear my post op clothes with ,y binder under my pants!!!!! So, once I lose this binder, I think I might be able to go down a size.

I am so happy I went ahead with the surgery!!!!

My doctor said to wear the binder 'if you want to' because I have virtually no swelling going on.

However, I feel more stabalized with it -- so, I wear it or spanx most of the time.

I probably take about a 4 hour break each day --- in the evening and then put my binder back on when I go to bed.

I like the feel of it --- and feel 'held together'.

That's GREAT to hear! I'm scheduled for a TT on June 7th, and I'm a bit worried that it's going to keep me down a little longer than the facelift that I had a month ago. The recovery from this surgery has been a breeze for me, but after having two C-sections when I was younger, I know this is going to be a more painful and more difficult recovery for me (especially at age 52!). I really appreciate that you stopped by to post that you are doing so well at the one month mark. It really helps people like me who are going into the surgery soon. Thanks!
