LBL - Almost 4 months post op
Lee...you look maaaahvelous! I really mean that! Your youthful spirit always shines through in everything you do! I agree you look 40 and have the can do spirit of a 20 year old!
I'm just wondering? Do you think your skin will tighten up as the swelling is permanently gone? I'm reflecting on what my skin looked like after about 7 months post VSG and how badly it hung everywhere after my rapid weight loss. Although my neck is no where near perfect...I look at pictures from that time period, and everything is definitely tighter all over. Just curious what your thoughts are? Even if you look exactly the same 2 years from now...you're beautiful!
Hugs,
Heidi

Heidi, I haven't really thought about it at all. I'm doing crunches now, both regular and lateral to work on my sides. I keep thinking that the swelling is all gone, but who knows. I keep getting surprised. I'm also doing light arm weights along with push ups etc.
My neck is definitely a lot firmer and I don't have a double chin anymore. It really looks and feels great.
If I stay like this forever, I'll be thrilled. If I lose a few more pounds and things are a bit looser, I won't mind that either. I look great in clothes and I'm healthy. The good health is what really matters to me along with the ability to be very active.
I don't know if I answered your question.

I honestly don't know what I love more, my tummy or breast lift. It's a real toss us. Smaller pants are great but I could wear a sexy dress braless is I wanted to. Now that's amazing after decades of tucking my breasts into mt waistband. :)

I would never in a million years guessed you to be 61, by your face or your body. You look years younger than your actual age! You LBL looks great. Did you have any Lipo? I'm going for a TT in June, and can't wait to see what a flat tummy feels like. Even in my early 20's I had to starve for a week to get bikini ready for the weekend because even at my thinnest, I was prone to having a little belly. You look wonderful!
I had a lot of lipo in my thighs and saddlebags but none above there. I didn't have any pain from it at all. Dr. Sauceda took two liters of fat with the lipo, then injected the good fat into my tush.
He later harvested fat from my lower leg to inject into my face.
Flat tummy is great! When laying down in the morning it feels concave. I marvel at it every morning!
Thanks for the age compliment!!
