Funny Story from PS
My husband shot a little video of me after my TT when they moved me up to my room. In the video I'm still REALLY drugged up. I keep falling asleep and I react to him when he asks me questions, but just by barely nodding my head or furrowing my brow, etc. Anyway, about a minute into the video he's just kind of narrating and he's shooting my abdomen and explaining that's where my belly used to be and for no reason at all I suddenly tell him "I'm a howler monkey". He just showed me the video for the first time (I don't remember him taking it) and I was cracking up. Just thought I'd share...
LOL! I don't EVEN want to know all of the crazy things that I've said during surgery. I had a dentist who pulled a Wisdom tooth recently have to get my husband out of the waiting room to see if he could get me to quit begging for a Botox treatment while I was under (and coming out of) meds for the extraction. He also does Botox, and I got on the topic before he knocked me out and just would not quit. He explained that he could not give me any because he had already given me meds before I signed the release.
My facelift doctor told me just before putting me out that I need to "think good thoughts, because people who go under thinking good thoughts tend to wake up in a positive mood". I guess you were thinking about Howler Monkeys when they knocked you out, lol.

I chanted a little prayer and affirmations in my head before being put under so that I would be in a good headspace when I came out of anesthesia.
Thats a funny story!!
