Considering a breast lift without implants need input

I was 58 when I had my BL.  I was a 36DD before and two years later I'm still a 36DD.  I'm very happy with the results.  Your surgeon should be able to tell you based on your breasts what size you will be after the surgery.  Recovery was not a problem - for me the BL was the easiest procedure to recover from.   I wore a sports bra the first few weeks and then went back to the bras I wore before the surgery.

Thanks Laura & proudauntie! I feel pretty good now about going ahead & speaking to my doctor about this option. It's one thing to look at random photos & another to hear from others who have gone through it.

Cindy, a lot of people end up with the ski slope look. I was very clear that I would be unhappy with that.  Dr. Sauceda assured me that he could give me the fullness that I wanted.  Tell your surgeon exactly what you want and see if they can deliver.

Thanks for the advice Lee. I definitely wouldn't be happy either.

Cindy, I went so far as to say I would have implants if necessary.  I'm so happy that I didnt need them.  At 61 I want to be done with body reconstruction.

Well, I'm having one at the end of this month (BL/reduction without augmentation)... so I'll let you know how it goes!  I'm excited, but then, I hope I have a favorable result...

Lee, I totally get where you're coming from! I'm not one that can be "down" for long, so the limitations of recovery are the worst part of ps for me. It is so difficult to turn a blind eye to the countless spring cleaning projects, but I know it's best to not abuse my new skinny arms. As my exhausted husband tells me, "Don't worry Cindy, there will still be plenty for you to do when you're fully healed." :)

mstori68, best of luck to you!!!
