Dallas Surgeons? How long after surgery?
Hi everyone,
I'm new to the PS forum. I had revision surgery on 2-20-12. I live in Dallas and my surgeon was Dr.Kuhn. I am starting to research the PS part. I've already met my out of pocket max for the year and my surgeon said I would have to wait 9 months from my surgery to do the PS. Which would be in November of this year. I'm hoping to get insurance approval to cover at least my tummy. How long did you have to wait?
Also, do you have recommendations for PS in Dallas? I was given a few by my surgeon - Morales, Ha, & Lester. He said they all work well with insurance and it just depends on what I want. I'm excited about this part. ; )

I live in the Dallas area too and had a TT, medial thigh lift and lipo almost 4 weeks ago with Dr. Paul Pin. He was recommended to me by my bariatric surgeon and my OBGYN. My OBGYN told me Dr. Pin is one of only 3 plastic surgeons in Dallas he would send his own wife to.
I think Dr. Pin and his staff are awesome! His office is at Baylor Dallas. I was self-pay because my insurance excludes any removal of skin after weight loss but his office does work with insurance if yours doesn't have this exclusion.
My surgery went smoothly and I'm feeling better each day. My recovery has been uneventful so far, thankfully. I returned to work (at a desk job) part-time at 2 weeks and full time at 3 weeks. I have a follow-up visit with Dr. Pin today and expect him to be as pleased as I am with the results.
