cost for surgery

Ok, I was wondering. Does the cost of say a tummy tuck and arm lift vairy
by state? I know that it varies by surgeons, and whether or not they perform
surgery in a hospital or in a surgical center in their office.
So does say Michigan have higher Costs than Ohio or California?

Just wondering, I was quoted $13000.00  for a brachioplasty and a Adominoplasty.
With muscle tightening. Very good surgeon, highly recomened. Only performs
surgery in a hospital.

Any thoughts?

Not sure if it depends from state to state but i know all surgeons are different. 13000 sounds good to me for what your getting and its done in a hospital.

I think it sounds like a good price, especially in a hospital.  Are you staying over a night?

I live in California where everything is more expensive.

I got an extended tummy tuck and full back lipo...paid 13,100....worth every penny!

Yes, it varies by region.
Much plastic surgery is self pay, and as such imam sure that doctors charge what the market will bear.

I paid 4,000 for my arms and I paid 7,000 for my tt 2 weeks ago.
If I had done them together, I would have saved about 1,000.

I live in southern Arizona.

The PS I chose was not the lowest estimate I got, but I liked him the best and he has the best follow up care.

Both of my surgeries were performed in an out patient surgical facility with full anesthesia and nursing support. I did not stay overnight.

The surgeon will have me stay at the hospital for a 23 hour hold. So not
technically a full day.

I really like this surgeon. He has a great bedside manor and very calming.
Also his staff is normal women. Nobody is plastic looking or fake. They are not
walking advertisments for bleach or boob jobs. So I feel really comfortable.

Thanks for all your help

Hi Dani
Do you mind disclosing the name of your surgeon?    I am just starting to think about possible PS but this seems like a reasonable price. IF I have anything done it will be my arms as they are horrible now...not only huge batwings but very wrinkly like an 80 year old woman's...there is just no way I could wear short sleeves without being really self concious.  If I could get the tummy done too for $13K, I think I would go for it! Best of luck to you whatever you decide.

Just for clarity, was that a TN quote or was that Dr. Sauceda's quote?

I apologize for not clarifying. This was a quote from a PS in Knoxville, TN.
